Dave supports strong bail laws and tougher consequences to keep repeat violent offenders from cycling back into our neighborhoods. Texas enacted significant bail reforms that Dave championed in 2025, but Dave believes continued enforcement and accountability are essential to keeping families safe.

· SECURE TEXAS CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE
As an electrical engineer with critical-infrastructure and cybersecurity experience, Dave has already taken his expertise to Austin. He supports stronger protection for the electric grid and the systems Texans depend on from cyberattacks, physical threats, and foreign adversaries. SB 75 established the Texas Grid Security Commission and requires ongoing evaluation and planning for grid resilience.

· LOWER PROPERTY TAXES
Texas families and businesses need lasting property-tax relief—not temporary fixes. Dave supports structural reforms that reduce the burden on homeowners and small businesses while demanding greater accountability for taxpayer dollars.

· LOWER ENERGY COSTS
Families and small businesses should not bear an unfair share of the cost of Texas’ rapid growth. Dave supports policies that strengthen grid reliability, expand dependable energy resources, and fairly allocate infrastructure costs. 

· FREE ENTERPRISE. MORE OPPORTUNITY.
Dave believes free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and competition create jobs, expand opportunity, encourage innovation, and give families greater freedom to build prosperous futures.

· FUND SCHOOLS. DEMAND BETTER RESULTS.
Dave supports properly funding public schools while demanding measurable improvements in student achievement, responsible budgeting, and accountability for results. Resources should be directed where they make the greatest difference for students.

· REDUCE LOCAL SCHOOL PROPERTY TAXES
Strong schools should not require continually increasing the burden on local families and businesses. Dave supports examining ways to shift more education funding responsibility to the state while reducing reliance on local property taxes.

· SUPPORT TEACHERS. PUT STUDENTS FIRST.
Teachers deserve the resources and support to succeed. Dave believes education policy should keep students at the center, support effective teachers, respect parents, and ensure education dollars are producing better classroom outcomes.
